How to make a Kai no Kuchi musubi
This is the most common knot for men regardless of age. Suitable for any outfit from yukata to kuromontsuki (highest formal outfit) ensemble but easily loosened so do not use when wearing a hakama.

According to Motoji Otoko Kimono the final result of this obi knot should be a 1 (wide part) to 2 (small part) ratio for a chic appearance.
This ratio does not seem to be often used in practice looking at the images and video's posted but wouldn't it be nice to take that extra stylish step ?
